Re: YouTube goodness
I enjoyed this...
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Sharon O'Neil, Smash Palace
Great production - I read somewhere it was made in LA with help from session musicians. Tasteful backing vocals. Killer sax solo. Nice country major third in the vocal melody in the chorus. I never rated her stuff at the time because it wasn't cool enough.

I found this very comforting for some reason.

Yes, wonderful. And that's how 19th century upper class people spoke, and Prince Charles.

Re: YouTube goodness
Just installed some Mr Glyn Cruel Mistress pickups, thought the forum might like to “hear” what they sound like.
I highly recommend!

Re: YouTube goodness
My wording may have deserved that smart arse comment!
Might change it now though.

Re: YouTube goodness
That's cool.
Love that part in the song at 12.42 after the refrain when it bursts back into life with all the delayed guitar parts. Always get goosebumps.
Nothing to see here.
