I enjoyed this...

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Great production - I read somewhere it was made in LA with help from session musicians. Tasteful backing vocals. Killer sax solo. Nice country major third in the vocal melody in the chorus. I never rated her stuff at the time because it wasn't cool enough.

Just installed some Mr Glyn Cruel Mistress pickups, thought the forum might like to “hear” what they sound like.
