NGD - 1981 Ibanez

Post by Jay »

Bought this a while ago but needed a bit of work. Also dispatched some elbow grease to make it shine again.

There aren't too many of these in NZ so I wonder if this is ex Kiwiaxe? I think he used to own one some 8 years ago or so.

Looks fantastic for a 41 year old and plays and sounds as good you would expect from this top of the line model.

Hot! My Ibanez LR-10 is also an '81, I believe. Should introduce them one day.

I was going to put a photo up from the back of the pickup...

But they are Super58 pickups.

I think Super58 from that era is highly desirable. Would love to hear it, but you're a tad too far...

Looks fantastic for a 41 year old and plays and sounds as good you would expect from this top of the line model.
I'm so looking forward to the old Ibanez and the young Eastman meeting for the first time. I have no idea what to expect.

Which is the definition of fun. :D
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

That is a great idea. Even better if Robdamac can join in with his Lee Routenier

Sure, one must part with everything in life at some time

It is an AS200 with Super58 pickups. Prior to 1981 they came with Super70 pickups.
