Do you run the Gibson through the Rosette as well? Do you need a preamp to add some colour?

Also, what Gibson is that? Looks a little like a modded 355...
Last night was the first time playing it through the Rosette and nope, it sounded glorious - lovely and rich. Made me think the Rosette might make a stereo rig possible…I do have the Deco for colour but it wasn’t really necessary.

It’s a 1978 ES-335TD with a roughly vintage-correct Bigsby. Originally it would have been fitted with a trapeze (which I have) but I also have a stop tail. This one has Doyle Coils Tru-Clones PAFs which are magical.

They lost your amp?
“Lost” might be a strong word. Someone knew where it was at all times, but it took a while to figure out who that was. Wellington branch said the service department had it, service said they didn’t, and it took a long time for it to appear in either location.

The store was mostly hopeless, but full credit to Adam Jackson for sorting it out when I went to him direct. And Hayden at the Wellington store is generally great to deal with.

I should save my pennies so I can buy that Flint off you, as is our time-honoured tradition.

I bought this one new, then sold it to Zaulkin. Then bought it back from him
