Anyone like bass guitars?

Dodgy rythym and thick strings here...

Anyone got a vintage/60’s style p bass pickup they’d like to part with, or even better a PJ set?
Surprised to hear that Toany

Some cat is taking preorders for Nords on TM.

Status is closing up. Unfortunately Rob has been diagnosed with Cancer. Hopefully a clean recovery for him

I think my first memory of Status was Tears fora Fears. “Shout”

In 1989 I played a Washburn licensed Status, a nice instrument.

What colour silks are the flats?
Blue
Chromes have Blue silks. Are the ball ends Green, Red, Black etc?…
You mean like d'addarios... probably, think I just grabbed what I could get. They're strings.... thanks to the bridge I don't have to look at the offensive colouring.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

I am in two minds about what to do with my Ash Radian, though the end result is the same - selling. I need to make room for an incoming purchase...

I replaced the soapbar and humbucker with Dimarzio Model Js (it has a Nordstrand preamp) but never got around to the new pickguard. All Hipshot hardware (with a D-Tuner) so it's pretty killer. One idea is to replace those with better-fitting pickups before selling, but would anyone want this before I went to the trouble?

Otherwise, has anyone got a nice soapbar + MM-style humbucker lying around?

2007 ESP Surveyor 5. Japanese-made, ash body, maple neck and ebony board. Not mad about the look, but ESP Japan know how to make exceptional kit (my other bass is also ESP Japan, a Vintage 4).

Correct. I couldn’t not. Hard to know what the original retail was but I am confident this is a sleeper keeper, for a very good price.

one of our cats goes in for an emergency op tomorrow - 8k, insurance has 5k left in the 'kitty' - gallows humour.

Heartbreaking to see a very healthy lad a shadow of his former self. Dreading the point when the money is the priority :(
