Amazing stereo image. Doesn't reeeally do a traditional delay sound. Great if you like to get a bit weird though.
Loving it so far

The key thing about the volante that makes it so great is that its emulating the greatest delay of all time, the Binson Echorec, there are a bunch of alternatives out there, you could grab the Alter Ego X4 that Kris is selling it does a great Echorec emulation.
I have the Foxgear Echosex Baby which is just a single head binson, but they also do this bad boy in stereo:

I have one of the new-ish Free The Tone Future Factory FF-1Y, literally just bought it but I fear it may be a little above my intelligence lol

If you're not intimidated by the cockpit of a plane this one would probably suit you quite nicely

Also +1 for the Volante/Vagina. I've had one before and it's a fantastic bit of gear

You know running two delays is an option:

Re: Take me to stereo town! Wanted: stereo delay
I think the vintagynesse of tape echo emulators appeal to me and my style of music.
What I might do is grab an aby pedal today and at least start to experiment with some stereo sounds using the other gear i have (wet /dry etc)
In the mean time ill keep on researching.
Rob has offered me alend of his vagina to AB with some alternatives.

Re: Take me to stereo town! Wanted: stereo delay
once agian i'm not convinced that this falls into the same effect as the volante in terms of 'true stereo ' panning in terms of devoted sends to left and right? Rob can probably explain this better.
Still it looks like a great pedal to start off with and ill likely flick kris a message
thanks
