Jolly Rancher cowboys with smiles a miles wide 'hard candy'...Customs showed no interest. They showed more interest when I imported some Acacia acuminate (raspberry jam wattle) seeds...apparently the plants can act as a host for Psilocybes...but I wouldn't know anything about that...

Our TV broke months ago and I finally splashed out on Monday and ordered a new one. Should arrive today and my gosh I've never been so excited about sitting on the couch and watching Netflix!

I just sold an 18 month old TV that cost me about $2,200 for, ish, $600. Felt bad about it until I saw the same spec telly can now be had for a grand.rickenbackerkid wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 10:12 am Our TV broke months ago and I finally splashed out on Monday and ordered a new one. Yep, as soon as you drive them off the lot, so to speak.Molly wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 1:36 pmI just sold an 18 month old TV that cost me about $2,200 for, ish, $600. Lots of things from Aliexpress to build custom vibrato arms, collets and stuff. Apparently, the stainless steel from China ain't too bad.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Post 'Haste'.... yeah right
Okay I've tried pulling it in contacting freight co, seemed favourable in conversation. Days later no response, no parcel. Went back to seller who lodged query with freight co, thus pushing. Is that like an A-B amp?
I've calmly accepted that parcel is lost. Could also be Omicron take out the drivers thing. Who knows, no ones talking which makes me think - lost.

nothing too fancy. 55 inch Panasonic Smart thing with a matching soundbar+sub. I looked at all the OLED and LQBTQLED but fuck spending thousands on TV. I don't think we've ever had a new TV before, they have always been a pass down or trademe bargain.robthemac wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 10:14 amWhat'd you get?rickenbackerkid wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 10:12 am Our TV broke months ago and I finally splashed out on Monday and ordered a new one. Everything is super slow. Started to think my daughter's passport had gone for a walk. Took bloody ages.

NZ Passport? Had to renew mine recently. Was told that standard service will take around a month.
