Re: Pedals Of Epicness
Cool pedal. Weird dude.
So does Mayer actually play one of those?
I kinda like the idea of having the three (arguably) classic OD circuits in one pedal. Although, I'd probably change the order. TS > BB > Klon.
Nothing to see here.

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
Near the start of that video he's got one of the switches on, it just sounds like a clean tone to me, and then he says its got too much gain and hes going to turn the gain down on that pedal.
Is this what people who like strats get into? degrees of clean tone?
Just reinforces for me is that all you need is a cranked marshall, an LP, and your volume knob.

Flavours of clean tone I guess? certainly John Mayer wise he uses different levels of pushed clean thru to quite dirty thru stacking various OD pedalsjimi wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 12:05 pm Near the start of that video he's got one of the switches on, it just sounds like a clean tone to me, and then he says its got too much gain and hes going to turn the gain down on that pedal.

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
What he said. I don't like singles with a lot of gain (occasional fuzzed out bliss excluded, of course). For me stacking boosts is the way to go for singles. Fat and spanky with just a drizzle of sizzle...jeremyb wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 12:11 pmFlavours of clean tone I guess? certainly John Mayer wise he uses different levels of pushed clean thru to quite dirty thru stacking various OD pedalsjimi wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 12:05 pm Near the start of that video he's got one of the switches on, it just sounds like a clean tone to me, and then he says its got too much gain and hes going to turn the gain down on that pedal.

Had the change to play this the other day. My friend (Works at the music shop) told me that it was in so.. Delay, distortion and OD is awesome.
