Funny that you post this. I have been looking at 1956 Gibson LPs recently and dowloaded quite a few photos and info about them. To save a few dollars, I am inclined to make my own birthyear LP. Never mind it isn't the real thing as long as it looks cool and plays well
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Thought so.
My birth year. Best birth year guitar ever.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
An interesting beast for sure.....sunburst........ well a darkburst and not a real fat neck at all by the looks of it.......very unique......thanks for posting Slowly
Interestingly, it has that wear patch under the high E, midway between the pickups. The Joe Perry/Slash 59 has the same. Some people must be holding the pick really screwy to be hitting the wood there....

Digging in....

Looking at that more closely on the big screen, I dare to say that those fingerboard dimples have been poorly filled in... standing out like sore thumbs. I suppose the lighting in the photo might exaggerate it but they could have at least tried to give it some artificial grain and go for similar reflection. Not easy, but can be done...

Yeah, but that much though? And you have to kind of slip the pick under the strings to get behind the pickguard.
9-hole weight-relieved mahogany body, aged gold hardware, Grover® Kidney tuners, and 490R and 498T pickups
$8,999.00
Seems like it's just based on a bog standard early 90's LPC? I guess if you have a 90's wine red custom you should hold onto it, we all saw what happened to the orignal silverbursts after the Adam Jones sig sold out...

This is actually the only way to let the bad notes out.
