Re: NAD x 2
I'm curious about the cabs and speakers you're using? Any ideas or plans as to what will work best for the two new amps?
Yes, M'Lady.

Re: NAD x 2
I hope his back is improving rapidly. Even then, I sure won't expect him to lug all that to gearfest! Having said that, would gladly help you lug all that to gearfest, Jim!
Re: NAD x 2
At this stage the Marshall & Laney sound best running through the Rimu 2x12, the ODS sounds great through the Boss
Likely that the ODS will become my main 'plug in and play' amp, but I might get a splitter so I can run it in conjunction with the Laney for a wet/dry kind of setup
Re: NAD x 2
It's crazy good, so responsive and the dynamics are unreal !! Chimes like a bell and the notes just ring our forever along with the harmonics which are wonderful, especially as you move higher up the neck
Have to say I have never played through anything quite like this before. Consider my hat tipped to you, bravo

Re: NAD x 2
Your multi effects thang should do stereo eh? can it have multiple routes so you can have some effects on only the left channel for example and dry out the right?Mini Forklift wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 3:36 pm Likely that the ODS will become my main 'plug in and play' amp, but I might get a splitter so I can run it in conjunction with the Laney for a wet/dry kind of setup

Yeah probably, but that’s above my technical knowledge. Anything beyond an FX Loop and you’ve lost me

Re: NAD x 2
Well if I can't make the next Gearfest I'm cool with someone swinging by and taking my gear out with them
And likewise if anyone in Chch wants to borrow any one of these for a gig, church service etc feel free to flick me a PM. Would be great to see it up on a stage where it belongs
Re: NAD x 2
It’s gloriously loud too. Volume on 1 is about the same as the Laney’s volume around 3
Reverb in the loop... I’m a happy man
