That thing is awesome! John Hall will indeed be frothing at the mouth in rage. But he is no longer running the company and I almost suspect that under the next gen of management Ric might loosen up and come in the 20th century because they are still in about 1970 but with a 90’s era website

May I be an awful dissenter?
I hate it. They've gone the simple route: P-Bass style body, P-Bass style pickup, expected pointy headstock. They could've made a really fun Mockenbacker but instead went for cheap and easy.
It's a cool idea that could be taken way further, but I feel this was designed in a 10 minute Zoom meeting.
