Monarch Pedal Demos - 5 Pedals!

Post by Zaulkin »

Hi everyone,

Over the last little while I borrowed some of Tez's Monarch Pedals, so I made a few Youtube demos of them. It was really fun experimenting with these and making the videos - something I have been wanting to get into for a while.

I really think these pedals offer some cool tones and man they look amazing. I am sorely tempted to grab the Fuzz Boy for myself as I had a lot of fun messing around with that one.

I'm planning on continuing making Youtube videos on various topics centred around the guitar. Gear demos, performances, guitar tips, music education and so on. If any of that interests you at all, it would be great if you could subscribe. :) I hope to continually improve on my videos.

Cheers Nik, that's a lot of work and great work as always.

Good work, the video's look great. It may be my laptop but I get some clipping in the audio.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Yeah, it's a great outlet for me because once I get started I really want to finish the video. I also figured I do a tonne of projects and come up with little things that would be cool to share.

Thanks for this. I didn't detect any clipping when making the vids but I am working on improving the audio. :)

I just used headphones, I can hear something, especially in the first 35 secs of the Mantis video, maybe its just the way the amp (digital?) is reacting to the pedal. Its not a huge issue mind, just something I noticed ;-)

Hard to tell with a drive pedal eh. I did have a bright clean tone as a base for all of this.

Will keep it in mind for future vids. :)
