Struggling to keep knob stiff - any ideas?

Struggling to keep knob stiff - any ideas?

I know not all of us are comfortable talking about these kinds of topics, but it can happen to anyone so I'd like to call on the experience of the forum. :angel:

...I have a pedal with a knob that I want to be harder to turn.

How fix?

erm..... pfizer?

Why harder to turn? is it not staying in place? Maybe an elastic band wrapped around the shaft (steady jb) under the knob (and he's gone....) so the band is in contact with both knob, shaft and pedal (explosion!!!!)
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Yup, just want to make it stay in one position and more difficult for it to be bumped out of position.

Make a wee foam washer, remove the knob, put on the washer and put the knob back on slightly compressing the foam. That'll provide a bit of resistance.

yeah thats what I meant with the elastic band. But it was way ruder.
