This just arrived for stock, but I like it so much I think I'm gonna keep it for myself. Limited Edition US Cabronita with TV Jones Classics. Lake Placid Blue with matching headstock.

Far out that looks amazing, Conway! PS Greenstone Club is us : )
I have a Woolly Mammoth clone on the way but it's been in the post for a month and tracking vanished in Japan weeks ago. Potentially lost
A few other pedals inbound too (Ditto+ And BE-OD Deluxe) but otherwise saving up for an amp.

Japan is a massive bottleneck for US Postal Service air freight to here. Usually it takes about 2 weeks getting through Japan. The flights come in over the weekend, so could be next week. Customs have been slow releasing stuff lately too.MogwaiBoy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 9:54 am Far out that looks amazing, Conway! PS Greenstone Club is us : )

^This! I have a TC Hall of Fame 2 incoming from the US and tracking info hasn't changed since the 25th when it supposedly left Japan...Conway wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 10:11 amJapan is a massive bottleneck for US Postal Service air freight to here. Mine has been "Departed Japan" since 10th October. You might be in for a long wait if I'm still waiting.RectifiedAmps wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 10:47 am

Be really interested to hear your thoughts on the Simplifier. Could maybe do a Iridium comparison one day you're up this way?
I have a Melo Audio MIDI commander that I'm not using. Basketcase borrowed it recently and thought there might have been an issue with the switches. If you want you can borrow it and see if it works for you? Don't want to sell you (another) broken pedal!

Yeah been thinking long and hard on the simplifier + Tempus or just get a Line 6 Stomp. My Line 6 experience has been frustrating tho so went with the easier looking simplifier in the end. I'm headed back to playing weekly again and I can't be bothered carrying the Artisan around!
Commander has more switches than i need , Thank you though!

Been looking at one of those types myself. I think I'm actually leaning more toward the Quilter Interblock 45? https://www.quilterlabs.com/index.php/p ... erblock-45
Sounds great. Not sure why it doesn't get mentioned with these more often.

If I run two Simplifiers in sequence will it make it idiot-proof?

So, how's the e-drum kit working out for you? Is it having the desired effect? My daughter is well into it, but it is still new and exciting, granted. Plugged her into an amp yesterday and we jammed together.Molly wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 5:32 pmtl:drIMOCD wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 5:15 pmGood on you Dad! Interesting piece in the Herald talking about how short attention spans are nowadays. I see it in my youngest and in encouraging the drumming, I'm thinking along the same lines as you. I tell her a few bars is no good, she has to maintain the beat for several minutes, even up to 10 minutes, once she starts jamming out the I IV V progression with Dad.
LOL
An English teacher told me The Simpsons is now edited with much shorter scenes as kids don't have the attention span they used to.
I just want my kids to be busy and interested. Lots of after-school activities etc.
Not really silent tho, the thwack of the beater on the kick drum is mildly annoying to say the least, but I'll tolerate it if it means less time on a device. Anyhoo, they have to put up with my mediocre guitar playing at all hours, so......
