Yeah, that's what BOSS and Kemper and all those other creative types can't design for - speaking for myself here - the lazy git with numerous demands on their time etc. etc. It's all I can do to put a fresh battery in my overdrive.

And the fact that I only need one tone: Strat into a Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb with a decent overdrive. :-)

Carl Sagan lectures from the late 70s. Communicates science very clearly and well to an audience like me who struggles with it.
