Would live to see a pic of it. the burst looks quite strong in the pics, but it's more of a faded cherry burst. much more suble than my other one (BG's old one)IMOCD wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 4:17 pmIf anything, I'd like to see more of that grain and less of the burst....
Here is my 2011 60's reissue that I refinished (minus strings). The twat that I bought it from made an attempt at faux binding and screwed up monumentally. Tried to fix it but nah, no good, so during lockdown I decided to take it back to bare wood an oil it. Shame, lighting is quite bad, but the grain on the upper bout is very similar to yours.
Not sold on the mini hums, so likely go back to original p90's and thinking I'll go back to silver top hats as the chrome knobs don't rely gel with the bigsby.

Files have to be smaller than 1mb I think. My cheat is to send a high-res photo to someone via FB Messenger, then download it from the conversation and upload.

Cheers. It's a compton compensated bridge that I bought for my gretsch. Sold the gretsch, but before I did, thought I'd see if it'd work on the LP, must have fluked it cos not only did it fit but even the intonation is close enough for this fella. Being machined from a single piece of aluminium, it sustains beautifully with plenty of zing.

Re: NGD - Gibson LEs Paul Classic
I've popped this up on Trademe at $1 reserve as Trademe had a no fees promotion on $1 reserve auctions. I was nervous about doing a $1 reserve auction so Molly has kindly offered to bid on the auction in case it doesn't go where I want it to, so feel to bid over him

I really want to ask RaidO what difference gigging a guitar makes. Genuinely curious.Molly wrote: ↑Mon Sep 07, 2020 11:18 amIf I get it for a dollar I'll expect it by next-day post.AiRdAd wrote: ↑Mon Sep 07, 2020 11:00 am I've popped this up on Trademe at $1 reserve as Trademe had a no fees promotion on $1 reserve auctions. Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I'm surprised Raid0 isn't on your blacklist, Danny. You've more chance of platting fog than completing a successful trade with that guy.
