I only have 1 new thing since last gearfest... Epiphone 2020 LP Special. Is this of any interest to anyone? If not, I'll just come along to perv.

Mine's half Greenback and half V30. The speakers came from that Friedman 412 that Steve in Dunners bought (my old one). He transferred his own speakers to the cab and put the Friedman speakers in a Marshall 412. So, that's the one I've got.
Thats a pretty darn perfect rock'n'roll pairing I reckon! The katana speakers are a repro of the greenback, interested to know how they compare!
Just running the Katana through a closed back quad makes the world of difference imo.
I unplugged my quads yesterday from the Katana and just ran the combo, but just the open back combo sounded weird and small. I'm sure a day or two and my ears would adjust, but its quite the difference.
No one ever died of hard work.. but why take the risk..

If not Dany might bring his FRFR speaker?

You could also run it into the power amp in on my katana head and see how it sounds with a cab, that input is designed around preamps and amp modellers to use it as a power amp :)

Not sure, I don’t actually know how to run the new system.
It’s a digital Behringer X32 if someone knows anything about them?

It’s the 18watt EL84 amp I posted about a couple of weeks ago.
It’s somewhere between a Marshall and a Vox with an EF86 preamp

Still looks like this untill I either build a head or combo case for it
