Need a bit of a steer please.

Varitone vs tone knob. Which is best? The varitone, or old school with the knob in your hand?

I reckon you should try the varitone, it sounds to me like it could open up way more sounds than a standard tone knob!

Torres do one, but the stellartone tonestyler is the best available IMHO

I wonder if there is a way to wire up the bypass so that it has less volume. So that when you switch to one of the filters, there is not a noticeable drop in volume.

I reckon you need both, I mean why not? If you have a guitar with four knobs - that would work :)
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
