Had to post this as this guy has crazy luthier skills and the finished job is spectacular (jump to 24.52 for the money shots). Inspired by Brian May's Red Special no less

I'd love to just have a mahogany/sapelle shelf lying around the house. Especially one that thick...
I've already plundered any shelves of value for cab building - so that would be pine then.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Very impressed. Talented.

If there was a Like button I'd use it but you know there isn't.

Victoria Amps guy talking tweed :)

Explains the floating baffle really well, the looser cab design.

I love these doco's about the early roots of blues and rock, I want a white SG now

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

That reminds me of a white SG our local guitar tech had for sale. Just like the one in that vid, except an Epiphone. Lovely fat neck, lots of upgrades and set up beautifully. Sold for $600 IIRC... bugger...
