Just got a ‘57 Goldtop from gregsguitars.de in Germany. Good prices, free shipping and (unknown to me at the time) put the value on the box as €600 so next to no tax when it arrived. Well worth a look.

Wow, that's great to know. His YT channel has had some really cool guitars. Pity I can't really watch it, they all blur together into something I can't really enjoy.Mattress5 wrote:Just got a ‘57 Goldtop from gregsguitars.de in Germany. Yeah, I actually don’t like his playing very much. He does have some cool gear though.codedog wrote: Wow, that's great to know. His YT channel has had some really cool guitars. Pity I can't really watch it, they all blur together into something I can't really enjoy.

Wow, you'd be fucked if something went wrong and you tried to claim on it.Mattress5 wrote:Just got a ‘57 Goldtop from gregsguitars.de in Germany. Good prices, free shipping and (unknown to me at the time) put the value on the box as €600 so next to no tax when it arrived. Well worth a look.

Yes I know the relic job is going to look like shit and I'm probably better to pay the extra and get a Fender, but still...

Those are strange; they have a clear top coat over the relicing so they feel perfectly smooth to the touch. However they're not bad guitars at all.jeremyb wrote:Its almost impossible to make a poly finish look nice when its reliced, plus resale...Mini Forklift Ⓥ wrote:Yes I know the relic job is going to look like shit and I'm probably better to pay the extra and get a Fender, but still...

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Saw this on another forum. Anyone else gassing for a F hole?
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.
