If it makes you feel better I always found it harder being in front of a camera with my clothes on, so perhaps go au natural?Reg18 wrote:I’m having my first TV appearance this weekend showing at 12pm Sunday. Our church has a slot on Shine TV (ch25 Freeview Or sky 201) to keep it gear related, using my Jaguar hybrid (built by Lostinverness) and going direct with HX stomp. No idea how it will all sound or how I’ll look (might be my wake up call to finally loose weight!) I’ll find out tomorrow I guess!
I’ll post the YouTube clip after it airs as well.

And remember, the camera adds 3kg. I typically have about five cameras on me.jeremyb wrote:If it makes you feel better I always found it harder being in front of a camera with my clothes on, so perhaps go au natural?Reg18 wrote:I’m having my first TV appearance this weekend showing at 12pm Sunday. Remember the accompanying doco / video? Malmsteen left the studio and said to camera: "Those guys from Iron Maiden. They're shit..." LOLLyle wrote:I've got that. It's annoying that there isnt a version on Spotify.Molly wrote:

Reading Malmsteen's biog I think he had about $30 to his name at around that time so I don't think the Maiden guys did too badly if they were shit.

When Avril Lavigne sings after Nuno it makes her sound so shit, so lifeless, soulless and robotic ... mind you she sounded like that before he sang also
His guitar solo was next level WTF ... so unique and original. I just wish I could get "into" their music a bit more. Love Porno but have struggled with the rest...might have to go on a binge of their other albums

Re: YouTube goodness
the extended version with all the guitar solos is epic ... Malmsteen slays everyone really, not only playing but his tone kills. I read recently an interview with Lynch saying every one was kind of relaxed until the saw Yngwie play ... then they all grabbed a guitar and started practicingMolly wrote:Remember the accompanying doco / video? 12" is on youtube...
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
