It was set up with a new set, but them being a dud set had crossed my mind so I put on a new set of my own.
Cheers guys, hopefully Alan can get to the cause of the issue and get it sorted

Maybe it needs a visit to Uncle Grant?

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

It is highly annoying when something starts to "occur" on a guitar - especially one of that calibre.
Best of luck - I'm sure it will work out.
All the gear... absolutely no idea...

I actually have a fat finger from an old Ricky. I can’t hear the difference.

Yep, that and the fact that it’s a Historic had me pretty disappointed last night. Feeling a bit better today reading everyone’s responses - cheers all.
I took it into Alan a couple of days ago and he put some relief back in the neck and assumed that it was good to go. Not sure he could really hear the issue that I was talking about, anyhow fingers crossed it’s an easy fix when I bring it back to him

I'm subscribing to this thread and unsubscribing to Netflix.
Jim's journey to find a Les Paul is better than any scripted drama.

LOL that's like a TV series leaving an opening in the story line for a potential sequel!
