I was watching a bunch of reviews on them myself last night, but in the end decided I would just stick with the Katana for the money.

Do you still have the Kemper?
Naaa. Had to free-up a bit of cash. Got the Victory RK head and THD cab which sound great. Was just looking at the Iridium as the Fryette Power Station should be here in a few weeks. Thought it might be pretty cool amplified through it.

Oh. He got it then? Cool. I thought there was an issue with an overseas supplier that prevented the deal.

Looking at the Andertons site, by the time you've landed one along with the wee extension button jobbie you're around $1,000.

I wonder if this thing will take future software updates with possibly other amp choices. I'm not that impressed with the Fender clean (based on YT demos) but really like the Marshall SL tone. Be nice if it had a more 'sparkly' Fender tone.

I'm calling it... a second modeller pedal release with 2x more modern distortion models, plus a sparkly clean. It will be called the Uranium.

If it's for the metal market it'll be called the Ucranium.

Indeed there was an issue buying from an Australian dealer and money was refunded so I went overseas to buy one haha

There will also be an ultra hi-fi powered speaker version, as an all in one option called Uranus.

To get the best from this, am I right in thinking you'd need a FRFR speaker? I watched a few demos showing how it hooks-up to a desk etc. and wondered if you could disable the cab sim for the signal to your amp / guitar cab? Or is that just not how they expect you to use it?

I've got a Fryette Power Station on the way and wondered about using this with it, y'see.

I wonder if, like a Kemper, you can leave them in place for the signal to the desk. Just wonderin'. Not really applicable to my home noodling.

Always good to have your potential rig mapped out in case the Black Crowes call though.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

dude, I practiced so many deacon blue songs on guitar and bass, and I ended up being sick and not even making the gig. So if the callout happened it went to somebody way less deserving :( Maybe the Beautiful South, or whats left of them, will make it here and I can do the same...

I've given up hope of MSG making it here ;)
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

I often see one half of the Topp Twins in the local cafe so maybe I'll end up playing a country-yodeling band.
