Thanks JB. The Marshall MG101CFX was a great sounding amp, didn’t sound solid state and the effects (from memory) also sounded great. I’ll have to head into the Hornby RS and see what they have; not expecting to see many Katana’s lol and possibly most of this Marshall range has now been discontinued

That had a decent ish range before I plundered the store the katana would destroy the marshall in a side by side!! Maybe check out the Blackstar Silverline 20W as well, way more expensive than the Kat 50, but might be more up your alley?Mini Forklift Ⓥ wrote:Thanks JB. A Telecaster.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Is there any real difference between the Silverline and the old TVP series except the packaging?jeremyb wrote:That had a decent ish range before I plundered the store the katana would destroy the marshall in a side by side!!
