Re: Fender Strat
Strats seem to have moved up in price in the last year! I sold a deluxe strat for $1400, I was looking on the weekend and some people are asking $1200 for a Mexican used.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

I would expect this to sit somewhere just over $2k.

Re: Fender Strat
Maybe even more if nitro fans get into a bidding war.
If you're interested, I think there's someone on this forum selling an Inca Silver AVRI Strat.

Re: Fender Strat
If I’m selling $3500, or $2500 if I’m buying.

Re: Fender Strat
I've had a couple of AVRI all come and go close to and either side of $2k. But as has been said, prices seem to be up a bit.
Personally don't like the neck tint or the pronounced transition from neck to headstock. And I'd want to be confident that there's no fretwork to pay for as it's clearly seen some use.

Re: Fender Strat
In all honesty you've had (have?) some great Strats and I think this might prove unremarkable by comparison.MrDINO wrote:Good pointers

Re: Fender Strat
Agreed. Should have kept that one I bought off you. I’d really like an old one but not the price tag. The 66 jag I’m using really has a bit of magic with it and I’m picking a Strat would have the same...could be wrong mind you.Molly wrote:In all honesty you've had (have?) some great Strats and I think this might prove unremarkable by comparison.MrDINO wrote:Good pointers
