There was a video on YouTube that came out yesterday doing this exact comparison. While I'm not a huge fan of the presenter (Rhett Schull or something), I think his summary of the two was pretty sensible. Different products for different purposes. I saw another video of a guy who has a small pedal board based around a Helix stomp, and it was pretty impressive.
The iridium is more like the amp at the end of a chain, which is cool if you have a great pedal board already.
