Very cool, ac30s going for crazy prices lately.

One day having an AC30 is a bucket list thing for me. Just need a bigger house first!

Been playing a lot of Tom Petty through the not-so-clean clean channel on my VR. If the simple enjoyment of crashing out open chords was any measure of an amp this hybrid, 'pretend' AC30 would be right up there.

But now I want a real one...

A "Misty Buff" production ?
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Unfortunately that's wishful thinking. A few hefty power-chords could be a good way to wake the kids up though
