Re: Guitar Gallery
Yamano WAS one of the biggest importer of Gibson until the late 2000. And as Dharmajester Japanese are picky on tops and quality is of utmost importance.
As for the premium, well it's given to be a tad pricier than the normal Historics or USA production, but they really kick ass in the looks category.
I got my '98 R8 w/o any COA but has emailed Gibson and confirmed it's a Yamano. The R7BB came with this (also emailed Gibson for verification):
**the SKU for Yamano is YLPRXXXX, whereas non Yamano will be LPRXXXX, but serial number stamped at the back of the headstock will always follow the default sequence X XXX**
By the way, both guitars were purchased and shipped from Japan.

Very modest gas Having said that, I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere they now have a PRS SC McCarty 594. That sounds much tastier to me!faceless wrote:Next gas!Conway wrote:faceless wrote:and my

Red Twin; something else rarely seen.Frey wrote:Lipstick in an sg! that's something you don't see every day
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

With all the phase-flip, coil tappy goodness, the lipstick adds something pretty nice.
The Twin was Ben's from Red Witch. I wonder if he had something to do with it being red..

Re: Guitar Gallery
I started an Instagram page Yesterday to show off some of my past, present and friends guitar gear. I’ll use it to continue to archive my gear purchases and practice my photography skills.
If your on insta would love a few more than my current 4 followers! And if you are in CHCH and have some unique gear I might be interested in taking some pics of it too!

As that image loaded I found myself involuntarily saying: "Oh, f**k off..." by way of expressing 'Oh Lordy, that's rather nice'.faceless wrote:and my

This might be the nicest Les Paul I've ever seen. I'd dibs but what's the point?

Re: Guitar Gallery
I have to agree.
I'd lose the pickguard somewhere though... oh and it needs speed knobs and a proper whorehouse pink fluffy case interior!
And strap locks for practicallity.
Other than that, what have the Romans ever done for us?
