"the mark on side of knob isn't in same position as the volume" Doesn't mean anything Daza. It's just been put back in a different position.

"sounds like the tone knob is not working or just a subtle difference"
Could be:
Incorrectly wired. Get a Tele wiring diagram and check.
Wrong pot. See above
Stuffed pot. See above and replace. Does it turn smoothly?
It's a tone knob - what effect did it ever have? :P
Turn it up for moar toan?

On a tele, it effects EVERYTHING soundwise. Gotta tame those ice-pick highs sometimes. :P
I use the tone pot on my LP a reasonable amount too (for woman tones)...
On my strat, never seen the point of it...
On my SV, well....it doesn't have a tone knob.

Beautiful work as always Ash but when will this seemingly endless flow of teles stop?! :?

It's like if Frank Frazetta went through a period where all he painted was cows...you'd still appreciate the artistry of a Frazetta cow, they'd be beautifully painted cows... but at the end of the day a cow is still a cow! Would you rather see Frazetta paint wicked action scenes and hot women and stuff, or cows?! It's driving me mental!

I think you really need to start saving your deluded customers from themselves and convince them that while they may think that they want a cow...I mean, tele...what they really want need is a nice LP/strat/anything other than a tele.

There's one more tele (probably) this year and then that's it for a while. Three more in the Zombie system that could rise from the dead at any moment, but no more in the proper queue.

Next year is going to be all about Les Pauls, Explorers, Vees, Juniors and finishing off Zombies.

Of course, what will really happen is that people will regularly pop up looking to quench the tele-thirst brought on by all the tele pictures I've been posting, so they will continue to grow exponentially until they've taken over the world.

Are Les Pauls next year that bad, BG?

Wouldn't mind a LP or Explorer myself.
