Left to right
The Swarts: STR Trem, 6v6se and SST30,
Marshall Vintage Modern 100w with matching cab
Rivera Clubster 25w 1x10
Fender DRRI
Marshall AFD100 with Bogner 2x12 oversize cab
Marshall JMP1 50th anniversary combo
CAB built 5E3

Lots of choice but I still gravitate back to the SST30 - not a bad sound in it. Now i think my amp gas is under control I will lookto thin the herd a bit over the next wee while......guitar gas building once more....its a never ending cycle
:)
Good to see you are doing things right!. More 4x12s needed though

The key thing is to not let family see them all in one place like that.

Cheers Guys
Yep, to be honest its a bit OTT and the collection will thin. The Marshalls and Swarts sort of occupy the same tonal space as well. Living across two cities because of work and blended families means I tend to collect gear a bit much and have a better ability than most to move stuff around to create the illusion of less!!!
The 5E3 is ex Airdad and was the one at the last ham gearfest, I got it in a swap with him for a Marshall head. I will probably let that go at some stage. If anyone is interested let me know - I would rather keep it within the forum members.
Hard to believe that I had all but given up guitar 10 years ago and just had an Ibanez JS and a champ 12. I blame this forum and Unique!!!
I will have all my guitars together at some point and post a picture if anyone is interested. :)

I wondered if it was the ex Airdad amp. Well done on the swap, it's a seriously good amp.

How long have you had the Deluxe Reverb? Don't suppose you plan to let that go anytime soon, do you? :D

Really nice amp. Here's a holiday snap from the time we hung out together.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

This arrived today, c/o Airdad.

Image

I managed to have a bit of a play this afternoon. It sounds grunty and amazing.

Surprisingly, at lower volume (the kids are asleep now) it still sounds decent, if a little fizzy. I might have to see Ryan about that.

The jury is still out on whether this is too much amp for my needs, but I'll live with it a while and find out. Loving it so far.

I know that amp, and it is goodness...

I bet that combo would sound great goosed with a nice od and master vol around 2o'clock

But if you need "the goods" at a more sane family friendly level, do yourself a favour & talk to Ryan

Already done (the Ryan part, I mean).

Also I just bought an HD500 too. I'll use that just for effects with the amp. I'll try the tube screamer model with it. Was getting great results just with my guitar volume though.

if you're just using it for effects, why didn't you get an M9/M13?
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

The main reason I got it was to use in church so I don't have to lug an amp, so I still plan to use it for that, direct to DI.

I'll probably use it for recording and playing late at night too.
