I was enjoying that, thinking his sense of timing was impeccable, his sense of melody incredible and his ability to just make music with his guitar on another level.

Stumbled on this set of three videos this morning (I'll link to part1 it will link to the others i think.



Really interesting to see someone trying to write and record a song in the style of Iron Maiden. It's not a bad attempt, I think it gets kind of lost mid way through the writing and kind of slips from the good middle period shorter songs to the more meandering long stuff that are mostly padding but I think it's interesting to watch to see how Maiden possibly fell into these traps themselves...

For me it's interesting to watch the tracking process since I don't really record songs in any way shape or form.
