Eeeeek could be a bunch, was it the one where they all look like Ned Flanders from The Simpsons?

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Yikes! This is not what I expected from Morgan amps! Having said that, I have no idea if those caps are actually that bad. Those solder joints didn't look flash though.

All you need is a thumbMiniForklift wrote: ↑Wed Feb 23, 2022 6:05 pm Great to watch this in colour, hard to believe this is nearly 60 year old footage. Amazing playing by all, not even two minutes in and I'm wondering 'WTF, how is he even playing that?''
Faster legato runs than many people that are genuinely good at it, no pick and the ability to play seamlessly over what sounds like fairly complicated changes
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

If I had to guess I wouldn't have picked that as the guitar being used
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

If you were wondering "does anyone play in Fripp's New Standard Tuning these days?", here's a short piece for you. Also a nice Mirabella archtop. FWIW Mr. Mittino also has a custom RIck Toone guitar so he's probably not short of a few bob.

Should be an interesting watch as I know he has at least one 1959 Les Paul and a pretty stellar Rickenbacker collection
