Sounds great man, wish I could play that.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Thanks, happy to share my version of it if anyone wants! Basically just trying to overlay the guitar and vocal melodies over the chords.

That is seriously nice Rob! Signal chain? almost sounds like a subtle bit of tremolo in there?

Thanks! As soon as I press record I lose all playing fluency.

Strat --> Flint (plate reverb, dark, mix very low) --> Volante (drum, quarter notes, hint of modulation, mix also low) --> Deluxe Reverb and Mesa Cali Tweed

No trem, I think that's the modulated repeats against the dry signal.

Hoping to get a couple of microphones to record properly next week.

YES PLEASE!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

That was mesmerising. I wish the guy trying the guitar had done more clean playing, but that’s not the guitar’s fault.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.
