That's cool.
Love that part in the song at 12.42 after the refrain when it bursts back into life with all the delayed guitar parts. Always get goosebumps. :winky:
Thats my favourite part of the song, could listen to that over and over again, the version on Live in Gdansk is my favourite, followed closely by Pompeii...

Sorry, that's one of those YouTube Shorts that I can't seem to link properly on here. Pretty cool tap harmonics on an acoustic, Joe's such a good player

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Great production - I read somewhere it was made in LA with help from session musicians. Tasteful backing vocals. Killer sax solo. Nice country major third in the vocal melody in the chorus. I never rated her stuff at the time because it wasn't cool enough.

I arrived in 1983 in NZ and was immediately taken by how good she was. Never heard much kiwi music in Europe, her song Maxine is a classic with another great sax solo
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

This is an excellent video on the state of creativity and intellectual property in the pedal industry. Yeah he says a couple of stupid things, but an unscripted hour of talking and I think anyone would.

I'm surprised to find myself liking Josh Scott more and more.

Yep, plays bass/keys for Sign of the Firebird here. Mate of mine had him make a Kwila neck to replace a twisted one on an old Pearl bass he got from the tard.
