Dude...seriously...out-fuxking-standing! Thanks so much for that! Big Tchavolo Schmitt fan here. Ever since Latcho Drom. He's been 'the man', for me, to inherit Django's throne. The look, the swagger, the chops, the taste and sensitivity...the humour...and the daring. But this cat, jeeesus!!! He's that and he's young. O my God...he's got all the cliches necessary for Jazz Manouche PLUS he brings some totally new language that is coherent, eloquent, meaningful...and TASTEFUL. Soooo many other pretenders go for flash and fireworks without a sense of taste, I switch off pretty quickly...hubris alert! But this cat...to the end! Django would approve, I'm sure. Thanks man, great way to start Sunday morning...WOAH!

Edit: PS. what's that axe he's fanging? Looks Selmer Maccaferri in style but with F-holes instead of a petite/grande bouche. Nice production. That guitar sounds killa.

glad to find another fan! I like that Joscho always keeps his soloing lyrical and easy to follow. He reminds me a lot of Tommy Emmanuel.

I think it's one of these https://www.djangobooks.com/Item/altamira-m01f

Cut some slack for the clean only tones. This sounds like an exceptionally clear and articulate Lester to me. Is it special or just ordinary?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
