Yes it's Tim Pierce but this latest Zach Myers PRS sounds great. Especially like the cleaner tones towards the end.

Well worth a watch, just for the quotes alone. "monkeys throwing pebbles at a target through a shutter"

I'll enjoy those. Ta.

Clapton looks like a man who's comfortable in his own skin. Nothing left to prove and nothing to lose by being gracious about other musicians.

I really want to hate these clickbait videos from YouTubers with hipster beards. But I really enjoyed the playing and the theory in this one.

I watch a lot of Paul Davids' vids. He's Dutch, so there's a certain European sensibility to him and I don't find him an outstanding guitar player (good but not great), but I have learned plenty off him. I find his instructional vids to be at a perfect level for me, they tend to assume you have a reasonable level of fretboard dexterity already, but are looking to add more colour and dynamics to your playing, which is me.

It's also useful for me to work on his stuff to try and rid myself of all the sloppiness I've picked up over the years of being a "bedroom noodling" player (nothing sharpens your chops like being in a band, nothing blunts them faster than not being in a band).
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Rick Beato hits it right on the money.

Interesting. Never been a fan myself.

I wonder if anyone has done a vid on how fekin talented Rick B is. I'd give my spleen to have an ounce of his understanding of theory and composition.
