Long phrase reverse delay

Post by MattH »

Hi folks

Am interested in finding a relatively small pedal that does long phrase reverse delay.

I need to be able to pull out all the dry signal completely and limit the repeats to a single repeat.

I have a DD6 which I can get to give me about half a second of reverse delay, but it's not quite long enough.

I know I can do a similar thing with a DL4 (which I've been after for a while for a number of reasons), but I'd be interested to know what else is out there.

DD-200 can do this. In reverse mode the effect level cuts the direct signal, and you'll be able to wind the feedback down all the way.

I'll need to grab a unit to check but I'm pretty sure the max delay time is at least 2 seconds.

Edit: just checked, it's 2.5 seconds

Thanks dude. It's probably a bit big. I'd really like the option of a single pedal that I can click on occasionally. The DD6 is so close - just needs a longer delay time!

My Hardwire DL8 has reverse delay, not sure of the time, but I can check later this afternoon. It's also going cheap.

Haha check out a 200-series enclosure in person and you may be surprised. Based on pics I also thought they would be big but they're actually not!

I have a spare DD-20. I can't find anything specific on how much reverse Delay it will do, other than the up to 23 seconds of delay on the spec page.
