Riff is easy enough. Chords are deceptively hard. Bassline the definition of funk.

Great tune, and a reasonable approachable fingerstyle version.

YYZ - Rush. Quirky instrumental, not the easiest to play with precision:

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Inspired by the new series "Pistol", that was discussed a while back but I've seen it and really enjoyed it, I've decided to learn some Sex Pistols stuff. I've always thought Steve Jones guitar playing was way better than it appeared to be on the surface and seeing the series I'm gob smacked he couldn't play at the start! There's hope for me yet :)

I had a half arsed attempt to learn some stuff a while ago but this time I'm got a couple of decent references so I'm getting stuck into Anarchy in the UK, which is still wonderful all those years later!

God, that one has way too many chords. Improv in Ebm or harmonic minor only get you so far. The melody is very do-able though.

Not sure if you've tried iReal Pro, but it's fantastic for learning the jazz standards.
