@obsidianwire I was thinking of a certain manufacturer of active pickups and their sloppy connectors.
Which is quite correct, EMG push on connectors on the back of their pickups always feel a bit tentative to say the least!

Even the GFS ones are miles ahead of EMG, they use a 3.5mm plug and jack instead, if anything I'm too scared to pull them out :lol:

The pull out is always a bit of a gamble..

Just put the Tui single coil set into my strat. Colour me impressed. Full and fat sounding but doesn't skimp on any of the glassy strat sound. Playing around with pickup heights but so far these feel like they're a winner for sure.
