I'm trying to figure out how to upload a picture. Oh well. The cover depth is 17mm and the pole piece is 21.5mm long. The cover in plan view is 85mm by 34mm.

Way back at the last Auckland gear festy, I played a guitar with a Cloud 9 in it and really liked it. Nicely focused mids and lots of harmonics.

For some strange reason Glyn asked me to record a demo of it on some of my amps. This was strange as most people hear my playing and tell me to shutup, but I'll run with it and embarrass myself on the internet anyway.

I've recorded a few riffs on a few amps. Here's the first amp.
Messing with a new way to record (using a mix of cabs, reactive loads and IRs). Not sure ive got things quite how I like it yet but getting there.

I'm tempted to try out the black sand p90 in the PRS One, the overwound Lollar has a bit too much beast for me to handle

Lollar you say...what ohms? Might be able to trade you for a lower output P90 if you want. Dog ear or soap bar?

I’ve got a set of the black sand humbucker sized p-90s (for my Duesenberg) and cruel mistress (for the paulownia Tele) in the mail. Was really impressed with both at the Auckland gearfest.

You pussy! You claimed you were man enough to handle it.

I bought this from Lollar. It is a serious beast. I always thought it would be perfect for searing blues slide. Works well for classic Rock but it really wants to burn.
