HSS wiring question

Post by Olderama »

Hi all

Received my samick today
So it’s got HHS with vol/tone and coil tap switch(apparently)
All through a 5 way switch
So with the coil tap down the 5 way runs through its selection and volume and tone works
With the tap engaged or in the up position
The 5 way again works through the settings but the vol/tone don’t work as in they are on full

Is this right?
Had a look at the wiring and it seems unmolested :mental:

Maybe
It states on the advert for the guitar it’s a coil tap switch
It’s a samick KR660

Yeah looks like that
Looking at the model I think it’s a coil split rather than tap
I’ll look st it’s guts and see what’s going on in there

Seeing as it’s only us 2 on this thread lol

I had a look and it’s been wired as a kill switch
So I’m happy to leave it
Just waiting on some parts for it
