My assumption is that he started out as a distributor annd/or selling internationally and now retails here. At least it very clearly states “excl GST”.

We chat all the time, I’ll ask him the reason today if you like.

For sure, but its open to the public innit? and its not like businesses get away with paying for it without GST so I dunno why its even a thing apart from to try and make it more appealing by appearing cheaper...

It is set up for overseas orders. If you go to checkout, no tax is included but shipping is added. If you select New Zealand in your address, tax is added, and shipping is free for orders over $300.
