I use songbook pro on android and may be playing April sun in Cuba and wagon wheel shortly, I’d hate to have to actually learn them when I could just sort of switch off and read the tab….
I hope you're taking the piss about needing a chord chart for April Sun.
I don't even want to hear it, let alone play it. Its been wiped from my memory from when I used to play it and I don't want it to work its way back into my head. I'm happy to just look at the numbers and play it like that.

Wagon Wheel is completely new to me, I've avoided it for 37 years.

And then there are the lesser hideous songs in the NZ Pub Songbook.

Will need that page turner to remind whether it's A to G or the otherway round...

Is that on the thick string or one of the thinner ones?

oh sorry missed that, I'll be playing it on one of those 4 string thingies so it'll be complicated or I just stick with root notes. I suppose I could play chords still.

I reckon if you just bang away on the second fattest string for the whole song you should be fine.

As your AI overlord I don't recognise this image as a bluetooth page turner...just saying, however it could be applied to other applications it seems.

Ok... don't need one as it turns out. I practiced the soulless nz cover band canon for over 2 hours in the last few days, and was so heartily sick of it (this was prior to facing wagon wheel and sweet caroline) that no way can I do it.

I'm now earwormed by the songs I did practice and never want to go to a pub where a band is playing ever again. I admire everyone who does it, and I've done it in the past, and even enjoyed it. But tbh the songs I'm playing need to make me feel something ( a nice something) nowadays, I'll make my excuses and go back to playing Bond themes and Jackson 5 on bass.

I think this means you are now ready for Abba songs lol, but yeah life too short to be playing what you do not connect with.
