I’m with you on the cars. I derive unwarranted pleasure from operating controls without diverting eyes and knowing the task is done.
It has the added bonus of reducing the odds of killing yourself or others.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I have not spent quality time with an AC-4, that is true.

I fail to see the difference between operating a car touch screen (legal) and a phone (illegal) while driving.

Sweet clarity when fingerpicked with a light touch and dial in how much dirt you want when you dig in. All at friendly volume. Can be made to work with single coils but care required in the tweaking.

Recently, Grantb and Bender gave it a run. I noticed the first thing they did was change my settings but they both used a flatpick which I don't.

I don't trust touch screens on any music equipment. Especially not on synthesizers or guitar pedals.

There used to be a rule that you couldnt watch a video on a screen in a car, and car stereos needed to have a link to the handbrake to stop it showing it on the screen, but thats been changed with GPS.
