This, cannot get my head round it. I like things to look shiny and new.

But for some weird reason I like Klones for high gain boost.
I don't know if I'm weird for actually liking the break-up from a Klone into a clean amp.
Definitely weird, a Jan Ray clone / Timmy with less gain gives such a beautiful tone with a Strat….
I had a Jan Ray and don't miss it with my current options. But I'm also only playing clean Strat these days.

I actually own an Archer Icon and Blackface and I’m not sure I’ve ever tried them together strangely. Need to give this a go.
I haven't tried the Archer, but Tumnus/Oxblood with gain at 1pm, volume at 10 and tone to taste suits me just fine.

I have a red one. I keep finding it in the vacuum cleaner. I kinda get why folks like them but my sausage fingers just swallow it.

What's your favourite reverb?

Either an Archer or a Tumnus Deluxe has always been on my board. I only use it with a band. I like them as a boost, not for solos, but the pedal's voice stands out well in a multi guitar band. Also, they're a bit of a, 'sound gooderer' pedal.

Yeah I'm muting notes and unintentionally producing pinch harmonics with those little things. I give them to my 8yr old nieces, as they're suited to their little fingers.

I just like plate reverb, so the 60's mode was never going to appeal. I thought the 70's and 80's modes would be great, but I just not remember being impressed. I would try one again, and maybe love it. That's the thing about gear - it's silly to not give any piece of equipment time to grow on you. I thought the POG2 I bought, then sold the same night, sucked as well, but then I bought a Micro POG a few years later, and I enjoy it. So a second play through a Flint could be a completely different experience.

Free the Tone Ambi Space AS-1R is my favorite reverb pedal.

Flint is not the best reverb in the world. The Spring setting is particularly weak to my ears. It just doesn't drip right.

Having said that, I can't see it leaving my board. The three tremolos are all great, and the reverbs are all passable.

Fano. Tried hard to like them. Owned a couple in case I just had the wrong one. But I think I just don’t like Fano.

Same goes for Nash guitars.

Don't think I've heard you play but I've always imagined you with a fast, light touch. Not really either Nash or Fano territory.

I'm djenting with .46mm delrin picks! I only use just the tip though
This surprises me.
I thought I'd do a quick survey of professional djentlemen's picks, looks like I'm not too far off the less heavy hitters...

Misha Mansoor 0.65mm Delrin
Tosin Abasi 0.6mm
Fredrik Thordendal 0.9mm Nylon

I wasn't talking about your use of plectra.
