About to eat my physical size in good, old fashioned, tasty food. Can't even vaguely think of something I'd buy that's got a black Friday special involved. That said, my wife's gone nuts so live and let spend I guess.

At least where you are Black Friday is a real thing! The local version is... somewhat wanting.

Indeed, but there’s a full 10% off some of the overpriced jynk on the Airpoints store. :-)

My American born girlfriend wished me a happy thanksgiving.

I looked at her with the straightest face I could muster and said, wait... wasn't that July the 4th?

How does it stack up against the Flint?
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Having owned a Flint and loved it then it will be interesting to see, video demonstrations sound amazing to me, combines a great spring which is what I desire currently with the more ambient type reverbs which I fell in love with as soon as I heard them.

I have a Hydra and I love the reverb options on it. Lots of possibilities on tap although I might say the spring option doesn’t quite do ‘drippy’ as realistically as I’d like. The trem is great and the harmonic/vibrato options are cool but those settings aren’t as versatile as on the reverb side. I mostly use the spring reverb and standard trem and it’s great for that. Haven’t tried a Flint so can’t say how they compare.
