I couldn't help myself; I had to pop the guts out of the enclosure to have a closer look. It did have the grey form/sponge protecting the component side of the PCB, muck akin to the old MXR pedals but having seen how that ages and the fact there is plenty of clearance between the tallest component and the baseplate of the enclosure, I decided to remove it.
Yes; it did come with the box and all the original documentation, rubber feet, and DOD sticker.
