Yeah that looks about as good a standard gets but over my budget. I’m more around the 2k, Junior/Special/SG
Kinda budget.

I’ve been borrowing my mates SG faded special to do some YouTube demos and it might be for sale, it has a headstock crack which needs repairing. Is this a sub 1k guitar given the neck crack?
Here’s the video I did with it.

It's got a nice looking top on it, but as my wife often says, "doubt means don't". A little bit trite maybe, but if you're not going to be able to love it, probably better to wait for an LP?

They have a small but loyal following. But they’re not Lesters. They’re much brighter and more like Gibson’s Telecaster.

The deal breaker for me is the silly offset humbucker.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Quite like the nighthawk, but then I like a lot of birds... especially when they aren't real.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

I’ve listened to a few demos and I think it’s a plus for me to have all different tones and snappier feel, I’m not entirely set on getting authentic PAF tones or anything like that, it’s the shape I can’t get past at this point.

This is my view as well. A very versatile guitar, and a brighter tone. Much lighter also. Does not really get into Lester territory though.

I saw this too, am considering it but I’ve since made a decision to buy a cheaper copy and keep saving for the real thing later in the year maybe. This one falls some in between the cheaper copy and real thing.
