"Tweed" drive pedal

Post by Trevlett »

Hey guys,
I'm regretting selling my Wampler '57..I have a tweed hole in my board..
Looking for a drive pedal that will do tweed flavoured clean to modern Clapton to Neil young.
Nice sagging mid heavy drive for my DRRI

Any recommendations?
Been looking at the Catalinbread deluxe/baseman pedals..
Something ideally available in NZ.

Cheers
Trev

Timmy (Not bad Tweed sounds and lots more besides)
Catalinbread Formula 5 (Gain, gain and did I mention gain?)
Lovepedal Les Lius (The One)
And of course, Wampler 57. (The rules say re-buying gear is allowed)
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I have a Freakshow Boost 2010 which does the perfect TWeed sag/compression when dimed, retains top end clarity and provides a lift at the bottom. It wasn't made to be a Tweed but it does a great job IMO. PM if you want more info.
