Can't go wrong for that price!jeremyb wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 8:17 amTheres a few pedal options you could look into, like the M-Vave Blackbox: https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005007539930625.html has bluetooth in for playing along with and you can load Neural ANN capture files, custom IRs etc..StratMatt wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 7:41 amThanks for that, will definitely look into one of those.jhyang549 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 7:40 pm
You could get a Tonex pedal and load a capture of a Neural DSP plugin. Tonenet has free captures you can download uploaded by the user community.
You can even find Tonex captures of Kemper profiles to download for free from Tonenet.
Turns out my trusty 2012 MBP isnt able to hit the OS11 required for running Neural Archetypes either so that's not ideal.

It has a few quirks so worth looking into some reviews, but they are updating the firmware to fix bugs and I love that its rechargeable, I have a little Zoom B1 Four that I use for bass and it runs off AA batteries or 9V adaptor so super handy for practice or as a DI, was tempted to get the guitar version but might get the blackbox insteadStratMatt wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 8:58 amCan't go wrong for that price!jeremyb wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 8:17 amTheres a few pedal options you could look into, like the M-Vave Blackbox: https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005007539930625.html has bluetooth in for playing along with and you can load Neural ANN capture files, custom IRs etc..

Re: Neural DSP Quad Cortex / Archetype Plugins Thread
Just installed Neural DSP Archetype Nolly for what seems like the first time in a few years.
Shit its good. I don't remember it being this usable.
I'll have to read through the update notes since I used it last but the most obvious is the doubler widens the stereo field like you would in the mix.
The second is transpose which is similar to a detune pedal Octave pedal but let's you +/- an octave and does so very cleanly. Nice way to drop.tinkng kn the fly.
Weird, I'm much more impressed with it now than when I first got it. Hearing degradation maybe?

Nah bro, same set up, same space. Sounding great.
I've been digging deeper through the presets more than I did previously and have given it more of chance.

Wow, so they have a rig with stepper motor controls for the pots on an amp when they're profiling it!

Saw that, very cool. I wonder if Fractal does something similar when they model amps.jeremyb wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 8:08 pm Wow, so they have a rig with stepper motor controls for the pots on an amp when they're profiling it!
